Samsung Galaxy A32 5G
The unexpected Samsung Galaxy A32 is out of the woods, revealed in a set of renders and it appears to be quite massive. Let’s check it out.
The renders were obtained via OnLeaks and a third party case maker. We’re dealing with a midrange phone with an unique camera setup: in a teardrop notch upfront and L shape at the back. A32 is probably made of plastic and features a white case. The back side is flat, atypical for Samsung, which usually delivers curved backs. Also interesting is the lack of a proper separation between the camera lenses and the back panel. There’s no more square or rectangular module here, a housing for cameras.
The protrusion is direct, more brutal design-wise. I expect a main 64 MP camera here, 8 MP ultrawide and probably also a Macro and Bokeh shooter. The device has a 6.5 inch flat screen, Infinity V selfie cutout and thick bezels. It measures 164.2 x 76.1 x 9.1 mm, meaning it’s similar in size with the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The camera protrusion is about 1 mm. We also have a side placed fingerprint scanner in the Power button and an audio jack at the bottom, next to the USB-C port.
This feels like something that OnePlus would launch or maybe a new cheap Google Pixel of sorts. As Samsung prepares for the wraparound camera module on the Galaxy S21, it also ditches camera housings on Galaxy A models. Interesting approach…
