Apple iPad Pro 2020 Rendered In 11 inch and 12.9 inch Versions
After an abundant 2019 as far as the iPhone leaks are concerned, we now turn our faces towards the iPads. 2019 had 3 iPad launches, but none of them was a Pro model. 2020 is said to bring us at least 3 new iPad Pros and two versions just got rendered by @OnLeaks (Steve H McFly) and iGeeksBlog, that published them exclusively.
We’re dealing with an 11 inch iPad Pro 2020 and a 12.9 inch iPad Pro 2020, both packing the brand new cameras from the iPhone 11 Pro. We’re not sure if the exact same sensor package is present and some sources speculate we may get two of the cameras and a ToF sensor added to them. @OnLeaks has shared the dimensions of the 11 inch iPad Pro, which measures 248 x 178.6 x 5.9 mm, even though with the camera bump the thickness goes to 7.8 mm.
The source can’t exactly confirm the material used for the bodies, either aluminum or glass. In order to cover both possibilities, the 11 inch model is rendered with an aluminum body and the 12.9 inch model has a glass back. We expect to see an Apple A13X processor inside and there’s supposedly a higher end iPad Pro coming in later 2020 with an Apple A14X. By the way, the first two models are expected to come out in March next year.
The design is everything you’d expect and the facade lines up with the current gen iPad Pros, meaning the models launched in Fall 2018. We also expect 4 GB of RAM on board, if not more and a lot of AR features, since that has been the core focus at Apple for a while now. The screens should be LCDs, like we left them on the 2018 models, but the Fall 2020 iPad Pro should provide a mini LED panel, according to rumormongers.
One could dream about 5G also being on board, but that’s not very sure. If would be nice if Apple also offered wireless charging for the Apple Pencil straight from the slate’s body. We also have a video of the new devices below.
