Apple iPhone TS Concept by full screen OLED display
Apple did make the notch cool, but they could also be the ones to make it uncool, once they get rid of it. Helping us with that is designer Hasan Kaymak, who envisions an iPhone that doesn’t have a notch or a cutout in the front screen panel. Meet the iPhone TS!
This is basically a transparent case phone, from what I can see here. It’s got a triple back camera and a see through case, that lets you both place the sensors and cameras under glass and also see some of its components. The screen upfront is a full screen OLED display, similar to the LG transparent OLED TV that was showcased recently.
I see that Hasan Kaymak also went with a ring around one of the back camera, like we’ve seen Samsung doing on the Galaxy A8s and Xiaomi on the Mi 9. There’s a prominent metal frame too, with some nifty metallic highlights. Since there’s no visible flash at the back, this time I guess the ring around the center cam is actually the LED flash.
Seeing the components through the screen feels a bit odd, but seeing them when the screen is off is kind of cool, I’ll admit it. The problem is that whenever companies try to pull off a real transparent phone, they usually fail miserably at it. The iPhone TS also has an Apple A14 Bionic CPU and it’s said to arrive in 2020.
