Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus (2019) Review

Samsung Galaxy S10 has been seen once or twice in renders on our website, but its other versions haven’t. That’s why we find this Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus render pretty special. Not only because it has a quad camera, but also thanks to the design.

The creation of Techconfigurations.com, the device has the usual suspects, like the in display fingerprint scanner and the very slim bezels. It keeps the stereo speakers and even the audio jack in place. Samsung Galaxy S10+ shows up with a hole at the top side of its front, for the selfie camera, a 12 MP wide angle F/1.6 unit. There are also ultrasonic sensors and a piezoelectric ceramic drive earpiece beneath the same panel.

Samsung is doing everything possible to try and get rid of the notch. I’m not exactly a huge fan of the hues chosen by Techconfigurations for this device and I find the Huawei Mate 20 Pro to sport the best looking colors out there. Camera-wise, we get a combo of 12 MP, 16 MP, 24 MP and 8 MP, basically an expanded and evolved version of the Galaxy A9 (2018). There’s also variable aperture and 960 FPS video recording, plus OIS and PDAF.

The screen is a 6.4 inch Infinity Display with Quad HD resolution and HDR10. That one sounds a lot like the Galaxy Note 9 screen, albeit in a narrower format. The handset is very slim, probably dropping below 7.9 or even 7.5 mm. I have to say I’m not a very big fan of the hole in the screen for the camera. It may feel like an elegant solution, but drilling holes in screen panels sounds a bit desperate to avoid notches.

I think hiding it under the panel completely works better.
