HTC U12 Cuts Bezels, Adds Dual Camera in 2018
The end of the ear brings the inevitable concept phones that predict 2018 flagships. Samsung Galaxy S9 has got to be one of the most rendered flagships, Huawei P11 is also doing fine, but the HTC U12 is just getting started. It received a render or two and now it gets a full gallery and video courtesy of designer Life Style.
Keep in mind that we are dealing with the FIRST piece of work from this designer, so not bad, not bad at all! The device keeps the same line as the HTC U11+, with very narrow bezel screen upfront and 18:9 aspect. There’s a dual back camera, with a discrete design, feeling a bit like the Huawei Mate 10 Lite, let’s say. Bezels are crazy narrow now, barely leaving room for a camera and earpiece.
Interestingly, the HTC U12 concept shown here has a 4K display, it’s very slim and seems to have a back covered with glass. This would make a good VR phone and also gaming phone and the glass back thing makes me think of wireless charging. I also spotted an extra button, maybe for a virtual assistant, although squeezing edges makes more sense now.
First concept ever? Great job!
