New! Slider System for Dual Selfie Camera For Huawei Phone
On March 1, 2019, a design patent of Huawei Technologies was published in the Global Design Database of the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Office) in which a full screen smartphone with a slider camera can be seen.
The patent contains eight render images, in which the Huawei phone is recorded from all sides. The speaker is integrated in the narrow bezel, furthermore it is a completely borderless design with rounded corners. The camera is extendable and offers space for a dual selfie camera, with a flash in the middle.
On the back there is room for two cameras and a flash. There is no fingerprint scanner on the device, which may indicate that it will be placed under the display. Another possibility is that it is included in the power button. More and more smartphone manufacturers are opting for this option, instead of a scanner at the back.
It is still unclear within which series this Huawei phone will be placed, assuming that this smartphone will actually be introduced. Since the phone has 'only' two cameras at the back, you can assume that it will be a budget / midrange device.
Recently, Huawei submitted two trademark applications for P Smart X and P Smart Z , possibly one of these Huawei phones will contain a pop-up camera. In terms of round design and dual camera design, the P Smart 2019 is in any case very similar to the patent sketches.
